Dr. James S. McClellan is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and completed his medical school and training at St. Louis University School of Medicine Hospitals. He has been practicing medicine in Traverse City since 1999 and is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. McClellan maintains privileges at Munson Medical Center, Otsego Memorial Hospital and Mercy Hospital in Grayling.

Dr. McClellan specializes in a variety of disorders involving the immune system including various types of allergies, chronic sinus disease, hives and particularly, immunologic deficiencies. He cares for both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. McClellan works closely with his patients, their families and their primary care physicians to design specific treatment regimens that will meet their individual needs.

Dr. McClellan moved to Traverse City in 1999 with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children. They are both committed to involvement in the community and in local organizations.

Rebecca DeCarolis, PA-C

Rebecca has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Michigan State University and a Masters of Science Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy Physician Assistant Program.  She has worked as a board certified Physician Assistant since 1997.  Rebecca has experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, Preventative Medicine, and Allergy & Immunology.  She lives in Traverse City with her husband and three children.

Kirsten Schmitt, PA-C

Kirsten is a board certified Physician Assistant who has worked in the Traverse City area as a PA for over 12 years.  She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Michigan State University and an Masters of Science Degree from Midwestern University.  Kirsten has previous experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care, and Dermatology.  She resides in Traverse City with her husband and two boys.
